Laser system for laboratory and small series production

Scope of application

Today, modern production facilities are being utilised more and more, plant downtimes are being reduced; the goal is optimal production costs at the highest possible utilisation rate.

This often results in very short time windows for developers and product technologists to create and test applications.

For this purpose, we have developed the MLT system MLiLab. The software as well as the laser technology used correspond to our large systems. As a supplier of laser systems, we are in constant exchange with our customers in order to implement new requirements and ideas in the software functions.

A significant advantage of this small laboratory system is that different types of lasers can be used. In addition to CO2 lasers, fibre lasers and UV lasers with different powers can be used.

The technology

• Complete system designed for self-sufficient operation (stand-alone).
• Typical speeds: manual placement on a component fixture.
• Type of laser source, depending on material: CO2 laser, fibre laser, UV laser, excimer laser.
• Number of laser sources per system: usually between 1 and 2, switchable.
• Power of the laser sources: 4 Watt to 100 Watt per source.
• Material dimensions: maximum 300mm x 300mm, other sizes available on request.
• Available with extraction and HEPA filtration.
• Laser class 1 system - the operator is fully protected from laser radiation.
