Laser special machines for industrial cutting applications

Scope of application

The industrial application areas for laser cutting are diverse. As one application focus, we manufacture laser systems for fast moving and flexible materials.

Some typical application areas:

• Laser cutting of cardboard goods for the production of packaging.
• Integration into machines and system components for laser cutting of floor coverings, for example vinyl.
• Cutting of textiles and leather in roll form.
• Cutting of materials for personal protective equipment - for example aramid and special fabrics. The lint-free and clean cutting edges are particularly advantageous here. There is no mechanical tool wear and the laser is always "sharp".
• Cutting of pharmaceutical packaging and fabrics
• Cutting and/or scoring of filter media (automotive cabin filters and engine air filters). Partial scoring allows the filters to be easily folded and optimally positioned in the folding machine.

The technology

State-of-the-art technical solutions are used for different material types and machine concepts. We can supply you with our MLT laser technology as a complete machine or as a partial component - always adapted to your individual production facilities and needs:

• Typical integration: In existing processing machines or in complete processing lines.
• For machine builders we also supply OEM modules for own integration.
• Typical speeds: the possible web speeds vary. We will be happy to test your material without obligation and then submit a feasibility proposal.
• Type of laser source: CO2 laser, but also fibre lasers.
• Number of laser sources per system: usually between 1 and 12 - this always depends on the application and the required production speed.
• Power of the laser sources: 100 watts to 2000 watts per source.
• Web widths: usually between 400mm to 2000mm; other web widths are usually possible. Often our laser modules are also additionally integrated into existing machines.
